About Cynthia A Brown

Cynthia is a social media coach and communications consultant. She is passionate about helping her clients best leverage their investments in online content and social media.

An avid user of social media platforms for over five years, Cynthia has leveraged their functionality and managed content development to promote a small business, a non-profit professional development organization (with ~150 chapters & 3000 members) and a non-profit ovarian cancer awareness organization.
Cynthia spent approximately 13 years with an investments company where she engaged in daily client servicing and troubleshooting, managing inbound call centers, interactive voice phone systems, email support teams and trained sales and marketing personnel on using customer relationship management systems – Cynthia understands the traditional Customer Experience and relates it to today’s social media economy.

Cynthia as a public speaker has engaged teens and professionals on topics such as career choices, Leveraging LinkedIn to Network, Entrepreneurship, Marketing Your Organization, Goal Setting, Time Management, Leadership, and Social Media: the Differences Between Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Cynthia is a Distinguished Toastmaster whose roles have included Public Relations Officer and Lieutenant Governor of Marketing of District 38. She is the Vice President of Marketing and Social Media for The Teal Tea Foundation, which raises funds for ovarian cancer research.

In 2012, Cynthia was awarded a Master of Business Administration degree. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing.
