How to leave a group on LinkedIn

I recently was invited to join a new group on LinkedIn, when I went to click on it I received an error message that I couldn’t join any more groups at this time. LinkedIn sets the free membership at a maximum of 50 groups. so I knew I had to get rid of some groups, but I didn’t know how to leave a group on LinkedIn…

I poked around for a minute and went straight to my best friend Google. I found the following instructions at the top of the page, and the worked great. So I thought I would share with all of you out there in cyber world.

How to leave a group on LinkedIn

  1. Click on Groups and then go to the Group page (you can get there various ways, this is the most straightforward), then
  2. Click on the last menu item / tab, which is More… a dropdown will appear, then
  3. Click on My Settings.  On the bottom right there is a button (which looks disabled/grayed out), that says Leave Group.
  4. Click that …
  5. Your Done!!!!

If you happen to find this, and it helps you, wont you on Share it on LinkedIn, like it on Facebook, Tweet it, Google+ it, or Pin it?

You can find the links at the bottom of this post.
